Agency Confidentiality Policies

Community Counseling Center is committed to a strict standard of confidentiality to protect both the agency and its clients. Therefore, it is our policy that any direct or indirect use or dissemination of confidential information relating to the agency or its clients to outside third parties or co-workers except as provided by law or agency policies and procedures is absolutely forbidden both during employment and after employment has terminated.

This policy applies to any and all confidential information regarding staff members, clients, and the business and affairs of the agency. By agreeing to this policy, you are agreeing that you shall not use for yourself, nor disclose to others, during the term of your employment or any time thereafter, any confidential information belonging to the agency or relating to its clients. You further agree that all case records, case histories, or other files and materials concerning the agency and its clients shall belong to and remain the exclusive property of the agency.

Website Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us at Community Counseling Center (CCC). We make every reasonable effort to safeguard any personal information we collect. This Privacy Policy covers what information is collected from you and how it is used.

Information Collection and Use
CCC collects personal information when you donate money to the agency. This personal information includes your name, address, phone number and email address. This information, along with your donation amount, is securely transmitted using PayPal’s servers. You may read the PayPal Corporation Privacy Policy here.

We will not disclose your personally identifiable information outside of CCC, nor will we sell or rent your personally identifiable information to any third party.

Use of Electronic Mail
We provide email links on our site to further facilitate communication between CCC and you. Information collected through electronic mail may be shared with our development department, intake workers, counselors or program directors. Unless otherwise noted, electronic mail on our site is not a completely secure and confidential means of communication. Non-encrypted electronic communications may be accessed and viewed by other Internet users without your knowledge and permission while in transit to us. Therefore, we recommend that you contact us by phone whenever you are communicating personal information to us.

Linking to Other Sites
From time to time, we will provide links to other websites, which are not owned or controlled by CCC. We do this because we think this information might be of interest or use to you. While we do our best to ensure your privacy, we cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of other sites. A link to a non-CCC website does not constitute or imply endorsement by CCC. Additionally, we cannot guarantee the quality or accuracy of information presented on non-CCC websites. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any website you visit.

Changes to our Privacy Policy
The foregoing Privacy Policy is effective as of January 1, 2005. Community Counseling Center may change this policy from time to time without notice.
